Duck Commander Classic Commander Double Reed Duck Call Review

Duck Commander Classic Commander Double Reed Duck Call Review

Down at Duck Commander Headquarters, on the Louisiana bayou, time seems to stand still. Since the first Duck Commander call was invented in 1972, not much has changed around there. There are no assembly lines or big machines. Each call is built, hand-tuned and tested by one of the Duckmen before being shipped out. Chasing ducks for a living is their passion, and building a call that truly sounds like a duck is what they do. They've worked hard to ensure the Duck Commander® calls will get the ducks on their table and on yours. Satisfaction guaranteed!

  1. Love the show that prompted me to buy the duck call for my husband. It is beautiful and a great addition to his man stuff.

  2. When I first received this call I thought it was too high pitched for our Mid-Atlantic area. I worked with the call I consulted some duck hunting friends and I decided to keep the call as I found it does sound real to all listeners including myself when someone else is blowing it. The wedge is very tight and I don't push it all the way in for fear of cracking the barrel but it still sounds good even with the wedge showing slightly.

  3. We watch duck dynasty ever week and our grandson is graduating and the duck call is a gift. He is a duck hunter. Great product.

  4. I received the product in good packaging yada yada. I guess I am just not hunter oriented. My wife and friends laugh at me when I try to make it sound like a mallard duck. They all think I do a better job without the tool. Frankly I do too. I will keep trying but at this point it appears to be a waste of time for me.

  12. I love this call. If you are going to get a call, get this call. A lot of calls out there don't actually sound like ducks. That isn't the case for this one.

  13. The call is barely raspy and very high pitched for a duck call, it just sits on a shelf not neing used.

  14. I never really orders this but I must have hit it by mistake and never paid attention to what else I ordered at the time.
Hopefully my bird watching daughter will get a kick out of it and once used I can better reply on this matter

  15. Not only is it a great company but they make some great products. This is an advanced duck call but once you learn the ins and outs it makes a great asset to your hunting gear.
